Day 11: Garshana Massage

Today’s practice is an Aryuvedic self-care massage called Garshana. This time-tested dry brush massage stimulates the lymph system and gets the lymphatic fluid moving, which is essential to having a robust immune response. It’s great for our skin and often prescribed as a seasonal springtime practice. Our lymph system doesn’t have a pump like our circulatory system, so it’s essential that we do practices like garshana and abhyanga to keep our lymph moving.
