Chakras, or the energy centers in the body, regulate our body’s functions such as our emotions, immune system, mind and organ function. The seven major chakras are positioned up your body from the base of the spine to the crown of your head.
If there is too much or too little energy flowing through a particular chakra, this will have a negative impact on the functions associated with that chakra, and we will get out of balance.
Chakra balancing helps to bring about an optimal flow of energy through each chakra, and restores the optimal balance between the energy centers. A healthier flow of energy creates greater physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
We will use a variety of techniques to balance our chakras including pranayama breathing, seed sound chanting and asana.
