Christie White first discovered yoga as a way to heal from anxiety, stress and trauma. She began practicing yoga steadily at Kashi Atlanta in 2004. As a certified Health coach, she decided it would be beneficial to add yoga into her practice to teach clients. In 2014, she graduated from Kashi Atlanta’s Classical Yoga Teacher Training Program. Under the guidance of her primary teacher, Swami Jaya Devi Bhagavati, as a yogini she has embraced the deeper transformative layers of yoga. She is currently enrolled in the 500 hour Kali Natha Teacher Training program.
In the summer of 2015, she studied Relax and Renew ®: Learning to Teach Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater. Her most recent training with Judith led to a certificate in Experiential Anatomy.
Christie’s classes emphasize balance and create a safe space to let go of stress. She loves teaching meditation, pranayama, and gentle asana/flow. As a big nature lover, her classes reflect mother earth’s teachings and beauty.
