Chris Bagby studied yoga and meditation as far back as the mid-1970s, though he credits the 2008 Kashi Atlanta Classical Yoga Teacher Training with Swami Jaya Devi for rejuvenating his yoga practice. Since then he has taught weekly chair yoga classes at Philips Tower senior home in Decatur, as well as classes at Kashi Atlanta and Tucker Rec Center.
He has studied Structural Yoga Therapy and Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy with Mukunda Stiles, and in 2011 spent a month in India on a trip organized by Mukunda. He has also been certified as a Breathwork Coach and Qigong instructor. Chris loves living in and photographing the outdoors. With his wife Sanne he has thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail and Continental Divide Trail. He founded Highland Hardware back in 1978 and still remains active in the business.
