Halloween on Josephine Street is a great place to see so many kids and adults in costumes. This year we saw Harry Potter and Lord you know who, Bert and Ernie, many different princesses, witches, a doll, teenage turtles, a horse and his cow-girl, Superman, a pumpkin, a Devil lady and her fierce wife and the Ice Cream parlor workers who ate way too much candy in their life times.
In an annual Halloween tradition, Swami Jaya Devi made incredible chocolate gluten-free treats this year. The resident houses were decorated as were most of the houses on Josephine. The fire was going and ready for marshmallow roasting and making s’mores, unfortunately the rain came and put out any roasting of marshmallows. Many satsang members, yoga students and their kids and families came by to trick or treat and hang out.
